The Heart Who Wanted To Be Free: StrongHeart Stories

The Heart Who Wanted To Be Free: StrongHeart Stories

It’s hard to speak up,

when we make a mess.
But the very best thing
we can do is confess!

When a child disobeys and tries to hide, she soon discovers that lying leads to a sticky mess! The only way to get unstuck is through the God-given gift of confession.

Like all the StrongHeart Stories illustrated books, The Heart Who Wanted to Be Free helps children use the powerful tools God has given us—such as Scripture, worship, rest, prayer, confession, and community—to strengthen our hearts against the plans of the enemy. As children realize how hiding their wrongs gets them stuck, they’ll see that confession frees their hearts from the burden of shame and invites them to receive God’s grace.
